Dear friends and colleagues,

As professionals within the museum, culture, arts and heritage sectors with links to our MA programmes we would like to invite you to participate in a networking event that marks the end of formal university teaching in this unusual year.

The theme of the event is Reflecting on Covid-19’s Impact on Arts, Culture and Heritage. In this session we will hear from a range of practitioners about how their work has changed over the last year, the things they will be retaining in future practice, the difficulties faced and the lessons learnt.

At the event, we will also hear directly from our students about the placement projects they have been conducting since January with a range of organisations. The event is a chance to meet the next generation of sectoral professionals, as well as to network with a diverse range of fellow workers from diverse organisations.

The format of the event will comprise a series of short position papers from speakers and students, plus breakout facilitated workshop groups examining different key areas.

If you are interested in participating, please fill out the following form.

Many thanks for your continued support of our students; we look forward to discussing the past year on the 6th May.

Yours sincerely,

Dr Robert Knifton
