Conducted by : Dr Jasjit Singh, Associate Professor at the University of Leeds.

Do you identify as Sikh? If so, please read on.

Many thanks for your interest in this research examining how Sikhs engage with Sikhi online. This survey is based on a similar survey which I ran in 2010/11 as part of my PhD, with some of the findings being included in my academic publications to date (

I am now re-running the survey to see what has changed over the past 10 years, focusing on digital innovations and on the online space. Anyone who self identifies as 'Sikh' is welcome to respond. This survey has been granted ethical approval from the University of Leeds (REF: LTPRHS-038).

Please answer the questions as honestly as possible as ALL RESPONSES ARE CONFIDENTIAL. To further guarantee confidentiality please do not provide any personal information from which you could be identified. Although it would be great if you could answer all the questions, if you do not wish to answer a question, please write 'N/A'.

At the end of the survey you will be asked if you would like to participate in an online interview with me lasting up to 30 mins. If so, please include your contact details. If you do sign up there's no guarantee you will be contacted. Similarly, by signing up, there is no commitment for you to participate in an online interview.
